UPDATE #3: At the January 15, 2019 Legislation Committee meeting, the Common Council allowed PBN the opportunity to speak but then tabled the item to allow for a resolution to be drafted. While PBN is working with the City on the resolution, please scroll down and use the form below to email Council President Pridgen and Council Member Franczyk asking them to join us in supporting this important issue.

UPDATE #2: On January 15, 2019 the Common Council’s Legislation Committee will discuss the Preservation Board’s request for a demolition moratorium. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

You can show your support two ways:
1. By joining us TODAY, Tuesday January 15th at 1pm in the Common Council Chambers (13th Floor of City Hall) to speak in support of the moratorium
2. Use the form below to email Council President Pridgen and Council Member Franczyk asking them to join us in supporting this important issue.

UPDATE #1: At their December 20, 2018 meeting, the Buffalo Preservation Board not only voted to recommend the denial of the demolition permit for 35 Concord Street but they also voted to send a letter to Common Council supporting a demolition moratorium for the Memorial Triangle, the area bounded by Memorial Drive, Paderewski Drive, and Curtiss Street. Preservation Buffalo Niagara calls for a demolition moratorium in the Memorial Triangle section of the Broadway Fillmore neighborhood until such time as its historic resources can be more thoroughly evaluated and protected. You can read our letter here.
