We are excited to announce a new program in Niagara Falls to help cover expenses for repairing and renovating vacant apartments in Niagara Falls, NY! Priority will be given to the 14301 and 14305 zip codes but all within the City of Niagara Falls are welcome to apply! This program is available to residential and mixed-use properties that are five units or fewer. The Vacant Rental Program (VRP) is intended to put vacant residential units back in service. It can also be used to convert vacant commercial space to residential space. It provides grant funding up to $50,000 if the completed unit will serve tenants under 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) and up to $75,000 if the unit will be rented to tenants under 60% AMI.
