Preservation Month

This May, Preservation Buffalo Niagara is representing Preservation Month to the fullest. Check out our featured events below or visit our calendar.

This introductory course provides an overview of the history of historic preservation, discusses how preservation projects are accomplished, and explores the social, economic, and environmental benefits of preserving our historic built environment.

At this webinar we will be looking closer at the application process, discussing how to use the homeowner credit if you have a rental unit in your home, and then answering your questions.

Join Preservation Buffalo Niagara as we show you the ropes of nominating an historic property for listing on local, state, or national registers.

Join us to learn about the past and future of The Eliza Quirk House. PBN’s own Jessie Fisher and Christiana Limniatis will share the history of the home and its infamous owner, and PBN’s Executive Director will give an update on plans for the rehabilitation of the home.

After canceling our largest annual celebration in 2020, Preservation Buffalo Niagara is thrilled to announce that the Preservation Awards are back! This year, our awards will be held virtually on Thursday, May 27th at 6:00 PM.
