This event examines the lives and work of two queer Buffalonian activists, Jim Zais and Charlie Haynie, through the lens of LGBTQ spaces and historic sites. From the 1960s onward, Zais and Haynie were involved in various social causes including the Civil Rights, Anti-War, and Gay Liberation movements, and their work influenced the course of LGBTQ liberation in Buffalo and beyond.
