Hard Hat Tour: Buffalo History Museum

December 12, 2019 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm EST

PBN and the Buffalo History Museum have teamed up to add two tours to PBN’s Hard Hat series. Hard Hat tours offer an exclusive look at the area’s most interesting projects. These behind-the-scenes tours include structural history, architectural details, and final plans.

Construction is underway to restore 2,600 square feet of space in The Buffalo History Museum’s National Historic Landmark Building – the sole remaining structure from the 1901 Pan American Exposition. Once a vibrant area filled with exhibitions, energy, and people, the area under the Museum’s portico has been close for over 35 years due to damage from water infiltration.

“Reclaiming the space reconnects The Buffalo History Museum with the Olmsted Park System, strengthening the links among people, culture nature, and history” stated Kim Luangpakdy, Director of Advancement at the Buffalo History Museum.

Tours will be held on December 5th and December 12th from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $15 for members of the Buffalo History Museum or Preservation Buffalo Niagara. Come and see the before, during, and after of this building like you’ve never seen it before. Hard hats will be provided!

You can read more about this glorious project here or more about our Hard Hat Tour series here.

This tour is sold out.
