Experience the Broadway Historic District in Lancaster, featured in our 2021 Preservation Passport season, alongside PBN’s Preservation Services team, Christiana Limniatis and Tabitha O’Connell. After its start as a residential corridor, Broadway/U.S. Route 20 saw an increase in commercial development after the rise of the automobile. The historic district features a variety of building typologies and styles, from the 1832 Lancaster Presbyterian Church to E.B. Green’s c. 1935 Brost building, a car dealership.
